This is the Parent Manual and can be bought separately from the 4 book set. Probably way more than I ever wanted to know about the subject, but all very important. Times are different than when I was a kid (am I turning into my mother?). You may get away with borrowing this one, but for me it was helpful to read the pertinent information for the stage we were in (or about to be in) instead of reading the whole thing in weekend.
One of my favorite things about this book (and the full series) is it doesn’t use fear as the main connection to sex- unlike what I might have grown up with (the ‘purity culture’) Jones leans into sex being a good gift from God and that in all stages of our life we are called to be good stewards of the gift. Yes, children need to know the risks of sex outside of marriage, but more importantly they need to learn about it’s purpose in marriage and God’s design for family. This book with give you confidence you need when talking to your children about their bodies and sex. Very grateful for this book.
